Claude Richard “Dick” LeMasters was born and raised in Beaumont, Texas.  He attended Lamar University, graduating with a degree in Chemical Engineering in 1984, and received his law degree from Texas Tech in 1987.

LeMasters’ background includes both general insurance defense work and the defense of toxic tort matters. His work has included trials in state and federal courts and oral arguments before Fifth Circuit. He enjoys legal research and writing.

LeMasters lives in Beaumont with his wife and four children. His interests include coaching and participating in his children’s sports as well as writing and performing music.
